St. Bonnet de Montauroux is a very peaceful village. There are no shops or services and so the tranquillity of the village is assured. Opposite the house there is a large area which can be used for parking cars. The village square also doubles as a boules court. The river is a short walk from the house and in warmer months it is possible to swim and to facilitate this there is a small beach area just below the bridge. There is a small village church which holds occasional services. Whilst there are no shops or bars there are mobile shops which visit the village through the week; baker, butcher, and wine.
